THE TAX POSITION

FBT is an employer tax.

FBT applies to certain benefits provided in connection with employment, including benefits for an employee’s associates. It is separate from income tax. Some benefits are exempt, and the FBT year runs from 1 April to 31 March.

BEFORE WE TALK

A useful starting point.

A description of the arrangements is the starting point. The records required depend on the benefits involved and the work you need KPA to handle.

Contact KPA before sending financial records or sensitive documents.

Records to have in mind
